Eagle Roofing Products is committed to providing our partners and customers with the most up-to-date information on concrete roof tile, manufacturing and installation processes, and educational resources. As a result, Eagle has registered an additional Continuing Education Systems (AIA/CES) course with the American Institute of Architects (AIA). The course is iea07-b: Concrete Roof Tiles – The Natural Choice for Durability and Sustainability – A Tour
This two-hour course, hosted at Eagle Manufacturing Facilities, provides an in-depth look at concrete roof tiles and their manufacturing process from the introduction of raw materials to the finished product, as shown in the illustration. This is an extension of course iea07-a: Concrete Roof Tiles – The Natural Choice for Durability and Sustainability that became available earlier this year.
The first session took place November 1, 2017 at all four Eagle Manufacturing Facilities. A total of 32 architects participated in the hands-on course nationwide. Each tour was guided by industry experts as they discussed essential information regarding Eagle’s sustainability, testing and code compliance. The course ended with a catered lunch and a brief Q&A forum with Eagle Subject Matter Experts. All participants received 2 AIA LU/Health Safety & Welfare (HSW) CE Hours upon completion. One Phoenix architect reviewed the course as “very informative, fun and interesting” and “noticed the positive company culture shining through all of the people working at Eagle.”
